THE CUBAN DESIGNED AND BUILT HOUSES
INTRODUCTION :

The Development of Cuban designed houses are jointed arrangement with the Housing Authority of Grenada and Commercial Matco S.A. of Cuba.

The Housing Authority of Grenada hopes to construct these Cuban houses through a process of phases. Two (2) model Cuban Design houses to be erected in Carriacou.
Thirty-Five (35) Cuban houses to be built throughout Grenada.

Additionally, clients who have their own private lands can request these houses be constructed at their location.

The project offers [2] two & [3] three bedrooms single houses. The sizes of these houses 671 & 814 Sq.ft. Alterations can be made with the size and design. However, such will be done at the expense of the client.

Payment for these houses would be on:
(1) cash terms.
(2) However, with discretion of the Authority mortgages would be arranged for selected clients.

  • The selection of these persons would be consistence to the overall objectives & aims of the Authority.
  • The actual construction of these houses are expected to commence in late November, early December.
  • The designs of the houses have been altered to facilitate Grenada homeowner's culture, in particular reference to its Kitchen, living room, and dining room areas.

Note: this project would be partly subsidized by the Government of Grenada and the Housing Authority of Grenada.

The Diamond Housing Project
A little piece of Diamond in the small parish of St.Mark's can be yours!!!!!

This is a project in which fifteen [15] houses were built by the Authority at Diamond estate St.Mark's. The project started in April 2000 and concluded in November 2000.

At present, the Authority has limited houses for sale.
The houses sizes range from 644 Sq. Ft to 844 Sq. Ft. All houses come with an estimated 5000 Sq. ft of land. And are priced within $99000.00 to $1270000.00 for total property

Properties at the Diamond housing project are sold on cash term only.
Therefore financing should be arranged with a financial institution to make such purchases.
The Authority would assist individuals to arrange financing.
